CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Oximetry Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor

I received the CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Oximetry Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor for FREE! (Regular price $18.49) I'm not really sure why I need this...but why not? Maybe I'll see if it works on animals at work, who knows. 

It seems to work very well. It gets my heart rate and SPO2 (oxygen saturation) within a few seconds. It's accurate on the heart rate, so I assume the SPO2 is also accurate. It came with 2 AAA batteries which is nice because nothing comes with batteries anymore. It also came with a silicon cover which doesn't really serve much purpose. This would be a good product for anyone with heart or lung problems to test their values throughout the day. 

The regular price seems fair for a monitor that seems accurate (The reading matched my pulse) If I needed one of these I would probably pay full price for it. For free it was definitely a good deal!

DBPOWER 720p Wireless Network IP Camera Smart Cam

Out of all the deals so far I was most excited about this one. Because I go away most weekends I like to check in on my cats. I used to do that with auto-answer on Skype and my webcam, but now that I live in a bigger place my computer doesn't have a view of my entire apartment...so that doesn't work. 

I received the DBPOWER 720p Wireless Network IP Camera Smart Cam for FREE! (Regular price $59.98) Perfect! I won't go into major details here, but it's a pretty decent little cam. It doesn't need to be wired to my computer, it connects to my network wirelessly. It just needs to be plugged in to power. I can monitor it from an app on my phone or tablet and I can see/hear everything in my entire living room. I can even turn on the microphone and talk to my kitties while I'm away (this scared the crap out of them....maybe I won't) It has pretty decent video quality as well as very good night-vision. The cam comes with everything you need, including screws to mount it to the wall if you want (I did) It does not come with an SD card, but that is not required.

The downfall to this cam is the instructions. They suck. It's clearly an Asian product with the instructions translated....very poorly. So not only are they limited, the English is very broken. Luckily I was able to figure most of it out, I'm not sure everyone would be able to though.

IP cameras can get pretty pricey. I think for the quality and functionality of this one the $60 price tag is not unreasonable. I would probably purchase this for that price. This was a great deal!

Strong Elastic Bed Sheet Fasteners Grippers Suspenders

I have a fairly thick mattress. Even my fitted sheets that are made for thick mattresses have trouble staying put. Perhaps it's the extra 3" memory foam topper...so comfy! I had looked in stores for a product similar to this and they were $10+ and looked cheap and flimsy. So when I saw the Strong Elastic Bed Sheet Fasteners Grippers Suspenders for $1 I had to give them a try. (Regular price $6.99) These fasteners are made with nice and thick elastic. The gripping part is very strong, but won't damage your sheets. They keep the sheets nicely in place. I would buy these for regular price, compared to others I've seen it is a fair price. Definitely a good deal. 

Art Naturals® Dead Sea Mud Mask

I received the Art Naturals® Dead Sea Mud Mask for $1 (Regular price $14.45) My only complaint with this product is the smell. It's fairly "perfumey". I would prefer a more natural scent. I wasn't able to leave it on my face because the scent was bugging my nose and it's still longering about an hour later. It's not a bad smell, just my personal preference. It did make my skin feel nice and soft and didn't irritate my skin at all. It takes some work to wash it off because it dries on and is quite thick. The tub is pretty big and a little goes a long way. The regular price seems fair considering how long it will last. Not sure if I can get over the scent though...so, an ok deal.

RFID Blocking Sleeve Set

I received the RFID Blocking Sleeve Set for $0.51 (Regular price $12.95) With a lot of cards now having the "tap to pay" feature, it is easier for a theif to gain access to your info just by standing near you. These sleeves block the radio frequency signal and keep your info safe. Any card that has the tap logo (below) should be kept in a sleeve like these. Passports also now use RFID and contain a LOT of sensitive info, so you should definitely use one of these for your passport! You can probably find these for cheaper than $12.95, but for me these were a good deal.

ArtNaturals Peppermint Oil

I received ArtNaturals Peppermint Oil for $1 (Regular price $10.95) This oil smells so good! It's not an offensive strong peppermint smell, its more of a sweet peppermint or spearamint. I'm very sensitive to strong odors and this does not get me sneezing at all! It will work well in my humidifier/diffuser I got earlier (hadn't planned to use it with oil but this smells so nice!) and I plan to use it in cold processed soap making. The bottle is huge and it came with both a regular lid and a nice glass dropper. The regular price is a good price for such a large bottle of oil, I would purchase it for full price. This was a great deal!

MoxyCut ComfortGrip Best Tweezers

I received MoxyCut ComfortGrip Best Tweezers for $0.98 (Regular price $11.97) Again, what can you really say about tweezers? They're sturdy, not flimsy, nice rubber grips and are curved just a bit so you can see what you're tweezing. They're a tad big for my liking. For the quality they're probably worth full price. Overall a good deal.

Facial Toner for Sensitive Skin, Carapex Botanical Facial Toner

I received Carapex Botanical Facial Toner for $0.99 (Regular price $14.97). This toner has natural ingredients which is nice for my sensitive skin. It also does not have a scent, which is not only good for my skin (no perfumes added) but good because I'm also very sensitive to strong smells. It contains no alcohol, but dries fairly quickly. It doesn't leave an uncomfortable tight feeling on your face like some toners, but you can definitely feel a slight firming effect. My skin feels soft and mostly clean, however I do notice a very slight residue on my skin at first. My other go-to toner does not do this. After gently running my fingers over my face the residue seems to wipe away and my skin feels nice and soft. This toner is not tested on animals and is made in Canada. I would purchase this for full price and probably will buy it again, so this was a good deal!

Profonde Pure Konjac Sponge (2 Pack)

I received the Profonde Pure Konjac Sponge (2 Pack)  for $1 (Regular prce $24.99) When I received these I was skeptical. When dry, the sponge is hard and very coarse. I thought it would be terrible for my sensitive skin but gave it a try anyway. I was wrong! Once soaked these sponges are very soft and have an interesting texture. They glide over your skin as if they're lubricated but leave no kind of residue. I do not use any type of cleanser on my face (warm water is your skins best friend!) Just a toner after a gentle wash with water. These sponges are the perfect compliment to warm water. No cleanser to strip your skin, but just enough texture to remove dirt and dead skin. I will be using this sponge on my face every day! $24.99 seems a bit pricey for these, but they are currently $15.99 on Amazon which is more reasonable. Definitely a good deal! 

Barmix Ice Cream Scoop

I looove ice cream...maybe too much! I've been looking for a good ice cream scoop but they all seem flimsy. So, I was lucky to receive the Barmix Ice Cream Scoop for FREE! (Regular price $11.94) Not much can be said about an ice cream scoop, but this one is very heavy and sturdy. I think even the most frozen solid ice cream will be no match for it. I would pay full price for this. Definitely a good deal for free!

Professional Half Sheet Silicone Baking Mat Set 2 Pack

I received the Professional Half Sheet Silicone Baking Mat Set 2 Pack for FREE! (regular price $13.99) For free I wasn't expecting much, but these are really good quality. They're a good size, nice and thick, not cheap and flimsy. I would pay full price for these, $13.99 for 2 is not bad at all. This was a really good deal! Can't beat free!

Comforday Aromatherapy Essential Oil Purifier Diffuser Air Humidifier with 4 Timer Settings & 7 Colors LED Changing Light

I received the Comforday Aromatherapy Essential Oil Purifier Diffuser Air Humidifier with 4 Timer Settings & 7 Colors LED Changing Light for $2 Canadian which is $1.56 US at time of writing this. (Regular price $41.99CDN/$32.66US) It is a cute little unit that fits nicely on my night stand beside by bed. It is very quiet! Sleeping next to it is not a problem. I'm hoping the humidity might help my terrible sinus issues! Not only does it create a nice mist, but it also lights up. It either cycles through 7 colors or you can pause it on any color you'd like. The light is optional if it's used while sleeping. It can be set on a timer between 30 minutes and 180 minutes, so it can't be run all night. If the water runs out while it is running it automatically shuts off, which is nice so it does not burn out. It also will warn you with a beep if you try to start it empty. 

Another good use for this would be at the office where air tends to be dry and stuffy. It creates enough mist for only a small area, so it's not ideal if you want to humidify your entire house. 

You have the option to add essential oils to the water for a nice scent, however I'm extremely sensitive to scents so I won't be trying that feature. 

I'm not sure I would purchase this for full price, seems a little high. I would definitely pay more than $2 for it though...so overall a pretty good deal!

 

GardenHOME 7-Piece Stainless Steel Garden Tools with Canvas Tote

I don't have a garden, just a balcony with a small container garden. I received the GardenHOME 7-Piece Stainless Steel Garden Tools with Canvas Tote for $1 Canadian, ~$0.77 US at time of writing this. (Regular price $24.99CDN/$19.30US) It is a very small set, perfect for container or patio gardening or for children. The tools seem quite durable. The pruners and snips are quite sharp and the movement is smooth. The bag is made of very thick, durable canvas and seems to be constructed well. It arrived quite wrinkled, but in time I think it will relax and smooth out.  The little bag is big enough to keep a pair of gardening gloves in and maybe a couple other things. I'm using mine to store my seed packets. I would probably not purchase this for $24.99, I would consider it for around the $10 range, so a good deal for $1!

PetsN'all Catch-All Cat Litter Mat

I love my cats, but one thing that drives me crazy is their litter tracked all over the house. This product claims to curb that problem, so I thought I'd give it a try. I received the PetsN'all Catch-All Cat Litter Mat for $1 Canadian, so about $0.77 US at the time of writing this. (Regular price $21.99CDN/$16.98US) This mat is much bigger than I expected. It fits well under my giant automatic litter box with enough room to stick out enough that the cats don't have much option to not step on it unless they leap out of the box. It is much softer than I thought it would be, it looks like it would be a little rough on the feet. It's made from a really soft, rubbery PCV material. The "holes" in the weave are large enough to allow coarse particles of litter to fall through. I think this mat is going to significantly reduce the litter tracked around my house. I'm not sure I would pay $21.99 for this, I'm sure I've seen similar for less, but I would definitely pay more than $1 for it...so, a good deal!

Equinox Barber & Salon Styling Series - Barber Hair Cutting Scissors/Shears

I received these Barber Hair Cutting Scissors/Shears for $1 (Regular price $10.01) They are nice solid scissor. The movement of them is not too stiff and not too loose...just right. They're very sharp and cut hair very easily. They came with 2 sets of pads for the finger holes, pink and blue.Not really necessary but a cute feature. I would say these scissors are worth their regular price, so definitely a good deal. 

Galaxy Note 4 Case

I don't always want to carry my purse with me...it has WAY too much stuff in it! Sometimes I just need my phone, a couple cards and some cash. I figured this case would be perfect for that. I received the Galaxy Note 4 Case for $1.99 (regular price $16.45) It does the job pretty well. It has a magentic closure and can hold 4 cards and has a pocket for cash or other items. With 4 cards in it it does seem a little snug to close. I think that adding much else to it will not allow it to close. Considering I will only use it when I want to carry as little as possible, this shouldn't be an issue. The wrist strap is removeable, I probably won't use it, just personal preference. It came in a nice box suitable for gifting. Overall a good deal and I would consider buying this for full price.

Professional Electric Callus Remover & Foot File

I was excited about this one. I've seen these things for $40 in stores. I received Professional Electric Callus Remover & Foot File for $1 (regular price  $24.99). Unfortunately when I turned the bottom to open the battery compartment the plastic broke...I didn't crank it hard, just a gentle twist. The battery compartment won't close now so I can't even use the product. I've posted a review reflecting this and messaged the seller. Hopefully I get a replacement and this was a fluke....otherwise this was a bad deal!
